Migrant Headlines

While reading the New York times reports on immigration, I came across several individual stories that often go unnoticed. These stories tell the human side of immigrants. I want to acknowledge the people behind those stories. The immigration system in the United States has become an enormous problem with no solution is sight. And while people debate in favor or against immigration reform, hundreds of families are being torn apart everyday. And everyday there are stories of hard working people being picked up by Immigration Customs Enforcement and suddenly taken away from their loved ones; parents, husbands, wives, brothers and sisters. Aren't families the "building block of society"? Are immigrant families less important than other families? Can we put a stop to this?
